 COPIC MARKERS ARE THE BEST THINGS IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!! umm... yeah. XD My birthday's today  and my parents got me the wallet-size pack of COPIC markers (They let me open it on Friday though.)  These things are just too awesome for words  . No wonder so many people love them. This is a character I made up while I was thinking up the comic Amber and I were going to do (I have yet to start it, and I don't think I'll ever get around to it >.> ). Her name is Eliza Fellen. Her exact story is a little sketchy, but her family was killed in a fire when she was little, and she was the only one to escape from the house. When she got out, she believed she was saved by an angel, and when she looked up in the sky, she saw a star twinkling brightly, and was convinced that it was her angel. After she was taken in by another boy older than her who had run away from home, she attested this fortune to her angel, as the star was twinkling brightly again. Ever since then (now she's about 15 or 16) whenever something good happens she believes it's the work of her angel. Her angel has become her best friend, being the one she "tells" all her problems and secrets to, and over time, she has fallen in love with "him." Everything she does she does for him. The boy who took her in (Avery Callum) knows about this, and is okay with it. Over time, he has began to fall in love with her, but Eliza can't see this, as she is preoccupied with her angel, who is just a part of her imagination. Heh, angsty story, huh? And I thought I was getting over my emo self...  I'm pretty happy with this, considering it's my first time EVER trying to color a picture exclusively with markers, let alone really good ones . But a little critique would really be appreciated, since I know the shading's a little iffy, and the coloring of her sweater looks uneven TT__TTDone with COPIC markers using "Yiji's Complete Copic Tutorial" [link] in a sketchbook one of my lovely wives gave me for my birthday. And kyaa!!! COPICS ARE DA' SHIZ! XD Very proud of you! They seem to work a lot better than my prisma ones! |D And I think you did a great job on everything...I just don't like the shirt (blue one). I think you should've used a SLIGHTLY lighter color for the shading. And in some areas, you didn't make the shading thicker, when it should've been.
Yiji's tutorial also rawks!! -Reads it constantly every now and then-
